Chapter 96: Want to Go Public?

Xi Zhou spent the whole meal in a daze, unable to taste a thing. Watching Fu Baihan feed Su Nuo, he wanted to gouge his own eyes out.

Save me. I used to think this was brotherly love.

Who knew brothers could turn into lovers?

He didn’t even know who to blame. It looked like Su Nuo was the one getting the better deal… Kiddo, get a grip. If you’re dating Fu Baihan, maybe don’t be so spoiled and dramatic?

What if he loses patience? Where will you go to cry?

But seeing how endlessly Fu Baihan indulged him, and remembering how brother-obsessed he’d always been, Xi Zhou’s worry strangely settled.

Fu Baihan didn’t look like someone who’d lose patience. If anything, he looked completely wrapped around this kid’s finger.

So this was what they meant by an iron tree blooming, or an old house catching fire?

If Su Nuo knew what Xi Zhou was thinking, he’d definitely scoff: My brother is young and handsome. You’re the old house on fire!

They parted ways and went home. The moment they walked in the door, Fu Baihan pinned Su Nuo against the wall and kissed him. Su Nuo reached up and ran his fingers through Fu Baihan’s hair, yielding and encouraging.

Ever since they’d gotten in the car, his brother had been looking at him like a wolf with glowing green eyes, so he’d been mentally prepared for this kind of passion.

Fu Baihan didn’t know how to love him enough. He nipped Su Nuo’s lip and steadied his breathing a little. “Sweetie, thank you.”

Thank you for knowing how anxious I was. Thank you for being willing to comfort me.

“See how good I am to you?” Su Nuo huffed and held out his arms to be carried. “Upstairs.”

Fu Baihan had always believed he should carry more of the mature responsibility in this relationship. Only now did he realize how much he depended on the kid.

It wasn’t Su Nuo who couldn’t live without him. It was him who couldn’t live without Su Nuo.

Clearly the kid had seen right through the act he thought was so convincing, and had found a way to put him at ease.

They had to hide their relationship from the people around them. Though there was often joy in sharing a secret, telling a friend like this was a different kind of sweet surprise.

The kid was serious about this. Far more serious than he’d imagined.

Carried to the bed and kissed some more, Su Nuo didn’t realize anything yet. Fu Baihan loved kissing him, regardless of time or place, and he was used to this level of closeness.

Young and hot-blooded, kissing the one you love so intimately, a reaction was inevitable. Su Nuo wanted to put a little distance between them to cool down, but Fu Baihan reached for him instead.

He bit Fu Baihan’s tongue and was the one who felt wronged, whimpering, his eyes alluringly glossy. His fingertips, resting on Fu Baihan’s wrist, were burning hot, and it looked less like resistance than seduction.

Fu Baihan’s throat bobbed, and he kissed the tip of Su Nuo’s nose. “Shh. Doesn’t it feel good?”

Su Nuo was too embarrassed to open his eyes. He let out a small sob, wrapped his arms around Fu Baihan’s shoulders, pressed his cheek against him, and called out, “Ge…”

“Ge’s got you…” Fu Baihan held him close. The wild possessiveness faded from his eyes, leaving only overflowing love.

A little while later, Fu Baihan kissed the kid’s earlobe and chuckled. “That fast?”

Su Nuo: “……” Embarrassed and furious, the kid thrashed in his arms. So what? He’d only just become an adult and had no experience. Is that a crime?!

“Okay, okay, I’m sorry, mm…” Kicked, Fu Baihan rolled over and pinned him down, lowering his head to breathe in his neck. “Sweetie, why do you smell so good?”

“You’re awful. I’m not talking to you anymore.” Su Nuo squirmed but couldn’t get free, and glared at him. Flirting won’t help now. You’ve wounded the heart of an innocent youth!

“If you won’t be with me, who will you be with?” Fu Baihan coaxed. “Let Ge make it up to you.”

“Hm?” Su Nuo was dazed and clueless, like a little lamb about to be dragged off by the big bad wolf before he could react. It was adorable.

By the time he realized he’d been played, and that someone had been undoing his buttons while talking to him, it was too late to stop him.

“No… Ge!” Su Nuo’s wrists were pinned. Fu Baihan’s kisses trailed down from the side of his neck. Su Nuo could easily guess what telltale marks would be left tomorrow, but when Fu Baihan bent lower, his voice took on a tearful note. Too much. The innocent youth couldn’t take it.

“How can you say no to Ge?” Fu Baihan coaxed him and, a little inexperienced, made his little treasure feel good once again.

Su Nuo’s chest heaved, his breath ragged, his thoughts drifting. He really wasn’t a qualified kept lover. What kept lover would dare let his sugar daddy wait on him like this?

Fu Baihan tried to kiss his little treasure’s lips, but Su Nuo turned away. He smiled, his voice low and husky. “You’d turn your nose up at your own taste, hm?”

Su Nuo: “…No kisses for you.”

Waaah. He was no longer an innocent youth. Two seconds of silence for his lost innocence.

Stroking his sweat-damp hair, Fu Baihan said, “I’m going to shower. Be good. Don’t run away.”

Su Nuo covered his face, rolled over, and buried himself in the pillow. “Mm.”

Don’t say it like I’m some cad who’d love you and leave you!

Listening to the faint sound of water from the bathroom, the tips of his ears burned as he thought about things that couldn’t be described.

Should he “return the favor”? But it was so embarrassing. What should he do? What should he do when Ge came out?

Fu Baihan came out changed and kissed his little treasure. “Want me to carry you to the bath?”

Su Nuo stammered, “N-no need!”

His legs were a bit wobbly, but he could still walk, really!

It was still early, so he couldn’t even pretend to be sleepy. After showering, he burrowed into Fu Baihan’s arms and said quietly, “Ge, I can do it too…”

Fu Baihan held him and didn’t take him up on it, only patted his back. “It’s okay.”

He didn’t have the heart to let the kid do that. Holding the soft, sweet-smelling kid, Fu Baihan breathed him in like nuzzling a cat, then asked, “Sweetie, do you want to go public?”

He’d suddenly realized that so many things couldn’t be settled by “I assumed.” What the kid thought mattered more.

Maybe he’d overcomplicated things. Maybe it wasn’t nearly that serious.

Because the kid loved him too.

Having more confidence in himself and in this relationship would be better than guessing wildly all the time.

“Go public?” Su Nuo rested his head on Fu Baihan’s arm and frowned. “I’m worried Uncle and Auntie won’t be able to accept it…”

“Not telling them right away,” Fu Baihan said gently. “I mean the other people around us. Is it okay for them to know about us?”

“Of course.” Su Nuo was puzzled. “Ge, why would you think it wasn’t? I’m not treating you like a secret lover.”

He’d actually noticed Fu Baihan’s nervousness and insecurity long ago but never understood where it came from. In their relationship, shouldn’t he be the anxious one? Why did it seem like Fu Baihan was the “kept lover”?

“I got it wrong.” In the closeness after intimacy, at night in each other’s arms, it was easier to open up. Fu Baihan sighed. “I thought you didn’t want anyone to know.”

“Before we were even dating, I had you pretend to be my boyfriend and told people. How could I not want them to know…” Su Nuo grumbled. “Ge, you’re accusing me unfairly.”

Fu Baihan apologized naturally. “I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.”

He’d learned how important it was to talk things through. His little treasure saw things differently from him, and guessing on his own would only send him down a rabbit hole.

“Ge, I can tell my manager and everyone right now.” Su Nuo reached for his phone. “Really, I never thought about hiding it from people. It’s just Uncle and Auntie… I’m a little scared.” By the end, his voice had grown faint.

Fu Mingyuan and Su Jing loved him like their own son. Whatever Fu Baihan had, he had too, and sometimes even more. Yet he’d gone and stolen their real son.

However he looked at it, he was in the wrong.

“It’s okay. I’ll handle Mom and Dad later. Sweetie, don’t worry about that.” Fu Baihan comforted the kid, thinking that once they found out, it was anyone’s guess who’d get beaten. In their parents’ eyes, the kid was innocent and couldn’t possibly do anything wrong. Fu Baihan would look like the mastermind who’d led him astray.

“Okay. Ge’s the best.” Su Nuo kissed his chin, his voice sweet. “Tomorrow I’ll tell my manager.”

Fu Baihan laughed at how eager he was to prove himself and stroked his hair. “No rush. This is fine as it is.”

Just knowing how the kid felt was enough.

The next day, Fu Baihan went to the office with a bandage on his neck. His secretary noticed when she came to report, and though she didn’t dare ask, she couldn’t help stealing a few glances.

The boss was obviously lovestruck… Anyone who wasn’t blind could tell his mood was off. He used to only be this happy when the young master came by, but today he’d come in on his own and wasn’t even giving anyone the cold shoulder.

“What is it?” Fu Baihan finished confirming his schedule, in a good mood.

“Nothing, sir, you…” The secretary cleared her throat. Afraid she’d guessed wrong, yet feeling the president was practically inviting her to ask, she steeled herself after much hesitation. “Did you hurt your neck?”

“No.” Fu Baihan touched the bandage on his neck, thinking of the cute little teeth marks underneath, his expression softening. “A kitten bit me.”

The secretary: “……”

Confirmed! The president is in love, confirmed!!!

What kind of cat bites you on the neck? Listen to that tone. Even she, a married woman, felt the sweetness was too much. He was definitely head over heels!

Whoever could date the boss and melt this iceberg had to be something else.

You only had to look at the young master to see how happy it was to be his favorite.

Speaking of which, would the boss spoil his partner more, or his little brother?

Su Nuo’s response: Stop guessing. He held multiple positions. Keep the good stuff in the family.

There were no secrets in the secretarial office. Once every secretary knew Fu Baihan was dating and deliberately showing it off, within a single day, the ever-perceptive staff had spread the news that “President Fu is off the market” all over headquarters.

Their President Fu actually had human feelings?! The employees were stunned.

And they started gossiping: what kind of heavenly beauty could make Fu Baihan fall in love?

And did the chairman know?
